On October 8, 2009 the administration of Kyrgyzpatent met Mr. Emil Kanimetov, Pro-rector of Kyrgyz State University and Director of the Science and Research Institute.

Kyrgyzpatent administration was represented by Mr. Turuspek Koenaliev, Deputy Chairman, Mr. Askar Najimudinov, Head of Copyright and Related Rights Department, Mr. Janike Kazakov, Head of Human Resources and Office Management Division and Mr. Mirbek Kojoev, Head of Information Support Division.

The meeting was devoted to the issues of copyright registration. Pro-rector inquired about the registration procedure and how to obtain IP protection for scientific works of the university academia.

Furthermore, Mr. Emil Kanimetov asked Kyrgyzpatent to provide consultation in process of move of the university office work to electronic one.

The administration of Kyrgyzpatent expressed its readiness in these issues.
