FAQ: [collapse collapsed title= What are related rights subject matters?] The related rights subject matters are the following independently of their destination, content and quality, as well as method and form of expression: - Staging - Performances - Phonograms - TV programs and cable programs. [/collapse] [collapse collapsed title= Who shall be entitled to file the application?] - Performer, citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic; - Phonogram producer, citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic or juridical person having official location of the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic; - Broadcast and cable organization having official location of the Kyrgyz Republic territory; - Foreign performer, phonogram producer, broadcast and cable organization in accordance with international agreements of the Kyrgyz Republic. Application may be filed by applicant directly or through representative. Foreign applicant may designate his/her representative for affaires keeping at his/her related rights subject matter registration. At an application filing through representative (literature agent, musical agent, etc) a power of attorney must be attached to the application, certifying authorities of this representative, executed in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Power of attorney shall be provided along with the application. [/collapse] [collapse collapsed title= What is the procedure of application filing for copyright subject matter?] Application shall be filed with Kyrgyzpatent directly of by mail. It must contain: - petition for registration of related rights subject matter; - one copy of deposit material or its duplicate. Documents, attached to the application: - certified copy of the document for economic rights; - document certifying payment of registration fee in fixed amount or grounds for exemption from payment or its reduction; - power of attorney for representative duly executed, if the application is filed through the representative; - document certifying adjustment of copyright issues at creation of related rights subject matters. Documents of application shall be given in Kyrgyz or Russian. Otherwise documents (excluding deposit materials) must contain enclosed translation into Kyrgyz or Russian duly certified.
