According to Kyrgyzpatent press service in Kyrgyzstan 76 applications for patents for inventions were filed with the State Patent Service during 6 months of 2009.

The most part of inventions is related to medicine, food industry and conditions of life. “People invent new methods of treatments, instruments for carrying out of operations, lines of products processing and other means for life and service facilitation of people”. In 2008 such idea reached 40 % of all inventions”, - press service noted.

According to Kyrgyzpatent workers, 1528 patent for inventions were granted from 1993 to 2009. 35 patents granted from the beginning 2009.

According to press service after filing an application for patents formal, preliminary examinations and substantive examination is carried out. “Applicants, who file application for registration of invention, in case of successful examination receive a patent”- Kyrgyzpatent press service concluded.
