In Bishkek on the Old Square the action «Combat against piracy» took place with the main object of national legislation observance propaganda in the field of copyright and relative rights protection, as well as protection of licensed production market.

On 19 June during this action audio video counterfeit (piracy) production was destroyed, which was seized by low-enforcement bodies from illegal trafficking since October 2008, in number more than 25 thousand different kinds of CDs.

Also the action was organized of counterfeit production exchange by licensed, when townspeople could change 3 piracy CDs for 1 licensed, generally of domestic production.

Moreover the concert of pop stars took place, they also declared the preference of licensed production not counterfeit.

Action was organized by the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic jointly with Town hall, Financial Police and Court Department.
