On April 26 the solemn event dedicated to the World and National Intellectual Property Day took place in the conference hall of the National Library. The leadership and specialists of Kyrgyzpatent, scientists, artists, outstanding inventors and innovators, patent officials, students participated in this event.

“This date coincides with the time of hard tests for the nation, said Mr. Bakyt Kenenbaev, State Secretary, of the SIPS – “We grieve about decedents and victims during the recent events, we condole their nears and dears and we call to consolidation for the earliest achievement of peace, reconciliation and workmanship”. On the eve of the conference Kyrgyzpatent staff venerated memory of died on April 7 and laid flowers in the square against the government house.

Awarding the Gold Medal of the World Intellectual Property Organization was the main occurrence during the solemn event. Four our countrymen became possessors of the international prestigious awards this year.

Suiunbai Eraliev, People’s Poet, Laureate of various National and International premium - for outstanding achievements in the field of literature. His translation of the “Book about warrior” (“Vasilii Terkin”) by A.Tvardovskii to Kyrgyz language is one of the best example of imaginative poetical translation in the Kyrgyz literature. The works by S.Eraliev have been published in the various languages and the “To Stars” poem was published in Yugoslavia in 1967.

Sabyrbek Jumabekov, eminent orthopedic surgeon, author of the unique methods of treatment, Director of the National Scientific Center of Traumotology and Orthopedics, Senior Orthopedist-Traumatologist of the KR, Head of the Traumatology, Orthopedic and Extreme Surgery Chair of the SKMA - for outstanding achievements in inventive activity.

Baktybek Alisherov, Composer, Laureate of the Kyrgyz Republic Government premium for youth, International premium “Choice of the Year – Man of the Year”, “The best Composer of the Year” premium, author of the state Kyrgyz language hymn and hymn of Kyrgyzstan youth, author of big music works for movies and popular songs - for outstanding achievements in the field of music art.

Bakytbek Shatenov, popular performer, Soloist of the National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov, Musician and Vocalist of the popular folk ensemble “Kambarkan” and “Ordo-Sakhna” - for outstanding achievements in the field of performance art.

Moreover the Republic Youth Engineer-Technical Academy “Altyn Tuyun” was awarded the special WIPO Certificate for the contribution in scientific-technical work of youth development.
Mr. Sultan Gadjiev, Deputy Permanent Representative of the UNDP in Kyrgyzstan presented awards to winners and warmly congratulated participants of the event.

Traditionally in honor of the Intellectual Property Day and for creative and inventive activities raising and encouraging, the Certificates of Merit and Scholarships were presented on behalf of Kyrgyzpatent to outstanding innovators and artists. Mr. Bakyt Kenenbaev presented scholarships of the SIPS to ten best authors and inventors, according to the State Fund of IP decision.

2.Eshiev Abdyrakman Moldalievich – Doctor of the Oral Surgery, the Osh Interregional Clinical Hospital.

3.Botbaev Almazbek Askerovich - Doctor Ophthalmologist, the Division of Eye Microsurgery.

4.Djaparaliev Nurlan Tynchtykbekovich –Senior Researcher of the Virology and Biotechnology division, the KNI Institute of cattle breeding.

5.Ibragimov Artur Maksimovich – young inventor, the Republic Youth Engineer-Technical Academy “Altyn Tuyun”.

For fruitful work in Intellectual Property system also 5 Kyrgyzpatent’s officials were awarded by breastplates “The best worker of Patent Service” and 8 officials we awarded by Honored Diplomas.

This day was significant for students of colleges. 10 perspective students received diplomas and scholarships Kyrgyzpatent.

The conference was accompanied by wonderful performance by the Folklore Theater “Ordo-Sahna”.
