On August 26, 2009 Mr. Kurmanbek Bakiev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, met with Mr. Ulan Melisbek, Chairman of the State Patent Service
Head of State and Chairman of Kyrgyzpatent discussed in course of the meeting the situation on transfer of the domain zone “KG” administration to the state competence.
Mr. Ulan Melisbek informed Head of State on the progress at realization of President’s Decree “On Organization of the National Domain names System Functioning”. Chairman of Kyrgyzpatent also informed about all other transformations to be implemented in the State Patent Service.
Forthcoming trips of Mr. Ulan Melisbek for participation in the international meetings were also
discussed. Mr. Ulan Melisbek reported to President of the Kyrgyz Republic about the agenda of the Joint meeting of the Interstate Council on Industrial Property Protection on 9-10 September in Yerevan and the Forty-seventh Series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of WIPO from September 22 to October 1 in Geneva.
