The Forty-Seventh Series of Meetings of Assemblies of Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to be opened in Geneva on September 22
In accordance with the agenda on the first day of the meetings the officials were elected and report of Mr. Francis Gurry, Secretary-General of WIPO, was presented.
Within the framework of the meetings the member states are to consider the WIPO Medium-term Strategic Plan for 2010-2015; proposed Program and Budget for 2010-2011; Report of the Standing Committee on the Law of Patents (SCP); issues, related to the Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore and others.
Mr. Ulan Melisbek, Chairman of the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, takes part in the meetings.
