On July 30, 2009 Administration of the State Patent Service of KR met with patent attorneys.

In this meeting Mr. Ulan Melisbek, Chairman of Kyrgyzpatent, presented Mr. Bakit Kenenbaev, new State Secretary.

The main objective of the meeting with patent attorneys was introduction of future innovations in Kyrgyzpatent in the field of IP automation within the organization. In particular the issue was discussed on digital signature for simplification of cooperation between Kyrgyzpatent and applicants, including patent attorneys.

In a short time the shift to the external electronic documents circulation is planned i.e. possibility of electronic applications, as well as on-line status of applications, which are under examination by experts; access to database of trademarks, firm names and other Copyright subject matters; access to electronic annual reports of Kyrgyzpatent and to list of information resources of the State Patent and Technical Library.
