Mr. Ulan Melisbek, Director of the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzpatent) during the public action held yesterday “Combat against piracy” declared that in Kyrgyzstan domestic art workers are no less talented than their colleagues from the West: “The problem consists that we are not able to appreciate, respect and defend efforts of creative people”.

For example, our film directors’ works have been highly priced abroad; Temir Birnazarov`s movie “Parz” became prize winner in the international film festival INPUT; director Ernest Abdijaparov got Grand Prix for his movie “Boz Salkyn” in the 4th International Film Festival “Eurasia” and Akjoltoi Bekbolotov`s movie “We are all right” won a special prize of jury in the urban films festival in Teheran.

At that Mr. U.Melisbek said: “They don`t have approval and recognition in the own country, some of them continue to work sometimes basing on their naked enthusiasm, but in spite of everything they continue to create remarkable and eternal production”.

Finally he noted that presence of many people at the action “Combat against piracy” proves that our citizens are not indifferent to the problem of piracy production spreading and they recognize that this problem should be resolved by joint efforts.
