On April 10, 2009 at 10 00 A.M. Kyrgyzpatent jointly with the State Patent and Technical Library (SPTL) arranged a quiz for high school students.

This event was dedicated to celebrations of International and National days of intellectual property – April 26. The slogan of International IP day of this year is “Green Innovations”.

The purpose of this event was to raise awareness among high school students to improve their understanding of the notion of intellectual property in their everyday life and to encourage their interest to creative activities. 9th grade high school students participated in this event. They were requested to answer the questions on inventions, trademarks, copyright etc. Then they were told on famous persons, creators and inventors of Kyrgyzstan. The quiz was ended by the competition of posters related to “Green Innovations”.
At the end of this event, all participants received prizes: T-shirts with Kyrgyzpatent and International IP day symbolics, puzzles, note-books and pens. Then a literary exhibition dedicated to inventive activities was arranged for them.
