The Kyrgyzpatent’s staff now can use a comfortable and warm gym with a shower room equipped with modern fitness equipment. The time schedule is as follows.

Men: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays;

Ladies: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

At the beginning of October a group of JDS fellows returned from Japan, Mr. Ybraiym uulu Zhanybek – a member of International Relations Division of the State Patent Service was among those, who has successfully graduated a Master’s Program in Economic Development from Ritsumeikan University (Kyoto).

This opportunity to study in universities of Japan was offered to civil and municipal servants under the joint project of the Government of Japan and the Kyrgyz Government.

The next edition of “Intellektualdik menchik” official bulletin of the Kyrgyz Republic has been published.

This issue contains information about inventions, selection achievements, trade marks and firm names, program products and license agreements, industrial examples, protected in the Kyrgyz Republic in accordance with Hague Agreement.

The bulletin also includes the official information about events, which took place in the State Patent Service during the month.

Mr. Ulan Melisbek, Chairman of the State Patent Service of the Kyrgyz Republic supported the international UN-led “Seal the Deal” campaign, by signing a Global petition addressed to world leaders.

The purpose of this action is to galvanize public support for a successful outcome to UN-sponsored climate change negotiations.

After announcement of the competition by the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) for a position of Leading Specialist of the Division of Eurasian Patents Register, Examination Department of EAPO, the State Patent Service of the KR has forwarded the application of the candidate for this position.

The Competition Committee reviewed the application based on appropriate requirements to the candidates for EAPO vacancies and recommendation by the State Patent Service of the KR, the Kyrgyzpatent employee, Mrs. Gulmira Junushalieva was enrolled to the EAPO for two years.

Mrs. Gulmira Junushalieva has been working in the Division of State Registers and Licensing Agreements of the State Patent Service of the KR for 14 years!
Before departure, Mrs. Junushalieva told about herself and her new job:

The regular official bulletin of the State Paten Service of the Kyrgyz Republic “Intelektualdyk menchik” №7/2009 was published.

In this publication information of inventions, trademarks and trade names, software and licensing agreements, industrial designs protected in the Kyrgyz Republic in accordance with the Hague Agreement were published.

The bulletin also contains official information about patent and licenses granted to inventors, as well as official reports of events held at the State Patent Service during the month.

On September 3, 2009 in Kyrgyzpatent main office Mr. Ulan Melisbek, Chairman of the State Patent Service presented awards to authors of the song «Kelechekke», dedicated to the anniversary of President Bakiev and his re-election as President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Moreover Mr. Ulan Melisbek thanked staff of Kyrgyzpatent, actively participating in publication of the gift book of poems, as well as the CD with the song dedicated to President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The leadership of the State Patent Service pays great attention to providing of appropriate scale of living and social support to orphans.

Each from us participates in the creation of the society wherein our children will live. The State Patent Service tries to render every support for orphans. Therefore the Patent Office of the Kyrgyz Republic has provided welfare assistance to orphans of former Kyrgyzpatent’s officials:
